New Skin Cancer Treatment Options Become Available; No Surgery

As the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer in the nation, skin cancer is a frightening disease that impacts over 2 million Americans every year. Traditionally, treatment for skin cancer has always involved surgery which ultimately removed layers upon layers of skin infected by cancer. Now, a new form of treatment is being offered featuring radiation that keeps patients from having to undergo surgery.
