About Me

Bio

I am a 42 year old male and am currently in treatment for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was diagnosed with the disease approximately 6 weeks ago. Right up until the time of my diagnosis I was quite active physically, playing ice hockey weekly and walking around 10 miles every day as a professional dog-walker.

My chemotherapy "cocktail" is the R-CHOP regimen and it is being administered to me through Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California. Until the diagnosis of "NHL" I had never had any major illness in my life.

I have always tended to use humor as a coping mechanism so some of my posts may reflect that. Please understand that I am not making light of what you or anyone else may be going through, only my own situation.
