Robot Used for Cancer Surgery

A new robot can help with less non-invasive cancer surgery, like removing cervical cancer:

"Six months after beating cervical cancer, a Billings woman survives a reoccurrence of the disease with the help of a surgical robot.

Joetta Stocks underwent a complete hysterectomy to remove the cervical cancer early in 2010. During a follow-up exam, doctors at St. Vincent’s Healthcare found a tumor on her kidney. "They knew they didn't want to put me through the original cut me in half surgery after all I'd been through," said Stocks.
