The Milwaukee Bucks have announced that they will team up with the Milwaukee chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for their annual “Bowl for the Cure Day.” A staple of Bucks community service efforts, this fun yet informative event goes a long way in educating, helping and motivating individuals to make a difference for breast cancer victims.
With their tournament at AMF Bowlero Lanes in Milwaukee, the Bucks-hosted event is expected to bring in a crowd of at least 700 bowlers.
Last year, this same tournament brought in over $42,000 for the cause. The day features two afternoon sessions which cost bowlers a $30 fee if they want to enter to bowl in two games. The latter game features 9-pin tap.
Every person who participates in the event gets two tickets to a Bucks game scheduled for March 23. Other goodies handed out as rewards include a t-shirt, gift bag and ticket for prize raffles that are scheduled all throughout the day.
Both the Bucks mascot, Bango, and the team’s dancers will be at the event to take part in the festivities.
