My son recently had surgery to remove a malignant tumor. He has a mass/tumor in his lymph nodes. Is it Lymphoma?

Well it's hard to say. They should have done a biopsy of the tumor. Could it be that they excised a cancerous lymph node? If that's the case, then lymphoma is a very, very distinct possibility.
